Football fans have been expecting the New Orleans Saints Drew Brees to announce his retirement from the NFL after his team ended their season in a defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in January, but so far the quarterback has been keeping shtum on the subject. And in a recent workout video shared by Brees trainer, Todd Durkin, he certainly still looks like a man who is training to stay in peak condition.
In the clip, Brees can be seen engaging in a little friendly competition against Detroit Lions quarterback Chase Daniel, with the both of them performing intense sled pushes in a driveway. The footage shows Brees getting carried away with his push, going all the way into traffic and back, setting what Durkin calls a new record .
