District Manager Ernie Papio said that although the old store was great, Krispy Kreme opted for the new North Lakeland location to bring an enhanced experience to the area. The store is also larger than its predecessor. Overall, it s a great community. We re excited to be a part of it, Papio said. We just found this perfect spot where we could place one of our brand new prototypes.
According to Papio, the company-owned Lakeland store will be the fourth one to open with this new design. Papio said the store will feature Krispy Kreme s iconic green bowtie design, with a nice modern looking inside.
