The Manayunk Brewing Co. was one of the first modern brewpubs in Philly when it opened in 1996, but owner Mike Rose has stopped brewing beer because of the cost to rebuild the brewery after it was damaged in the flooding caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ida. The brewpubs restaurant reopened earlier this month; it had also been closed for months.
