Twenty-four hostages held by Hamas since October 24 were released on Friday in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners and a four-day truce in the Gaza Strip. The first Israeli and foreign hostages kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 were freed on Friday, under an agreement that also resulted in a truce between Israel and the Palestinian terror movement. So far, no men have been released from the group, which includes only women and children.
