(Concord Police Department) CONCORD, NH A Concord man was arrested on child sexual abuse images charges after a 10-month investigation after police were tipped off by Google about a possible possession incident. Originally, according to a court affidavit, the case was referred to a detective in Amherst who received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in August 2020. The org received the tip from Google. Concord police were referred to the case in December 2020. According to the Amherst detective, who was working on the case via the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children task force, a woman s email was named and this initial tip involved 455 files were uploaded to a Google Photos account. (Bow Police Department) BOW, NH A Bow man faces felony charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a boy repeatedly during two and a half years beginning in August 2017. According to an affidavit, police in Bow met with a boy in September 2020 to interview him about possible sexual activity between himself and a man that began when the boy was 14. The boy was interviewed by a detective and claimed he first met the man online and the activity was on and off again, about six encounters, but ended in February 2020.

Hampton man gets 7 years for distributing child sex abuse images Portsmouth Herald John William McMahon, 30, was sentenced on the charge Wednesday, according to U.S. Attorney Scott W. Murray. McMahon’s arrest was the result of an undercover investigation, where members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force accessed a peer-to-peer network to identify users who may be sharing child pornography images. On various dates between Dec. 14, 2017, and Jan. 2, 2018, officers conducted single-source downloads of child pornography from a certain I.P. address. Agents identified the address used to distribute child pornography images and identified McMahon as the person responsible for distributing the images. In a consensual interview, McMahon admitted accessing wireless internet belonging to a neighboring apartment and downloading the images.
