Thank you to the VA for its service to veterans
I’m 76 years old. I’m a veteran. I called the White River Junction VA last Monday. I waited only a few minutes. “Are you scheduling COVID-19 vaccinations yet?” I asked. “Yes we are. When would like to come in?”
“As soon as you have a slot.”
“How about tomorrow at 12:30?”
“I’ll be there. Thanks.” End of conversation.
Went in Tuesday, was seated in a small group with other old vets like me. We received careful, helpful and thorough instructions and information from a friendly and welcoming staff, got our shots (painless) and left after 15 minutes.
