KATHMANDU, July 3: The top leaders of the ruling coalition including Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN (Maoist Center) have agreed to form a new government under the leadership of Nepali Congress (NC) in Koshi Province.
Nepal's President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Sunday asked the political parties of the country to complete the formation of a new government in a week after the national elections were held last month which produced inconclusive results.
The country's ruling alliance, headed by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's Nepali Congress and the main opposition party, Nepal Communist Unified Marxist-Leninist (UML), will require the support of smaller groups for the new government's formation.
