Lê Thánh Thư sinh ngày 20/5/1956 tại Quy Nhơn, qua đời lúc 2h ngày 16/7/2021 tại TP.HCM (trước đó, anh đã có kết quả xét nghiệm dương tính với SARS-CoV-2 vào ngày 14/7). Tự học làm thơ từ năm 1972 và tự học hội họa từ năm 1982, anh đã tạo ra một hành trình thi họa đẹp đẽ, diễn tả được bao nỗi niềm nhân sinh.
Gia đình cho biết mới xét nghiệm ra dương tính Covid-19 chiều 15/7, hơn 10 tiếng sau thì qua đời.
