Starting today, New Yorkers age 60 and older are eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine. And starting next week, workers in the state who interact with the public can get the shot.
Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that New York is expanding its vaccine eligibility to include individuals age 60 and above starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials say those vaccination sites will be located in New York City, Long Island, Hudson Valley, Capital, Southern Tier, Mohawk Valley and Western New York regions to further grow New York's vast distribution network.
