Operation Brave Hearts is not your typical summer camp and is a new community experience for students through out the Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District.
Brave Hearts Estate, a Pellston facility ran by ‘Operation Injured Soldiers’ are offering students from grades 6-12 to experience team-building skills.
Brave Hearts Estate teamed up with the Char-Em ISD and Michigan Marine Corps to give students a chance to experience exercises such as simulated casualty evacuation, maneuvering skills to get personnel and supplies from one location to another, resupply relays and will also give them the chance to learn about the military being a post-secondary option.
