In its objective of closing Peru's infrastructure gaps aimed at improving Peruvian citizens' quality of life, the Government of President Dina Boluarte on Tuesday presented the New Central Highway Project, which will represent the largest public work in the country's history, thanks to an investment worth over S/24 billion (above US$6.21 billion).
It also saw the presence of the regional governors of Pasco, Ayacucho, Huanuco, Huancavelica, San Martin, Ucayali, and Lima Province. This work is also a sign that Peruvians can do great things in a short time, well done, and in a concerted manner, he added.
The agreement is titled Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Peru and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on Support and Assistance in the Execution of Construction Projects for Daniel Alcides Carrion Highway and Santa Rosa Road.
By signing this document, both parties express their commitment to execute the aforementioned projects.
