Google MOTORISTS in Oldbury and Tividale are being warned to expect congestion and delays as major work to replace electricity cables starts this week. Temporary traffic lights at junctions and lane closures will be in place on the A4123 Wolverhampton Road/New Birmingham Road from Thursday (July 15). To protect workmen, a temporary 20mph speed limit will be in place where lane closures are in effect. These will be rolling lane closures from the junction of Portway Road to Tividale, where the new cable will cross Tividale Park and continue via Dudley Road West to Groveland Road with work being carried out under temporary traffic signals.
