Discovery employees tell me that they just got the news at a town hall meeting midday, and they say they are still trying to take it in, absorb it and figure out what it means to them individually. For some, they will be required to relocate. One employee told me Discovery Communications is a great place to work. It has been a good run. Many of the 1300 employees of Discovery Communications cross Georgia Avenue to get lunch daily. Theyre a big part of the economic engine that has revitalized downtown Silver Spring. But theres now concern over what will happen when these discovery employees are transferred elsewhere. Suspect that some of restaurants will lose a significant amount of market share. Every time i come down here, i see, like, employees from the discovery building come to get lunch and stuff like that. Now its going to be a little bit slow. Reporte

We traded in the frigid weekend for raindrops. Not just for today, but rain chances will continue into tomorrow. April will be staying on the cooler than average side, but at least one day in the forecast has a 70 degree on it. Radar shows light rain all across the region first thing this morning. Future weather carries the bulling of the rain out of here by about 9 00, 10 00 this morning. Could have a lingering shower up to about lunchtime, but then we should break out into at least some allow of sunshine today. That will allow for a milder day by far. Yesterdays high only 53. The shooting happened inside the Indus International market on fourth street. Molette green is live on the scene with what led up to the shooting. Reporter good morning. Police got the 911 call shortly after 11 00 last night when a Burglar Alarm sounded from inside this International Food market. When they got here, they arrested t trying to get away on foot. A Prince Georges County sheriffs deputy shoots and kills a man and neighbors say it happened right in front of his mother. This happened this evening along 6 third avenue in east riverdale.
