The 2022 NCHSAA 4A football state championship game between undefeated Grimsley and unbeaten New Bern will take place this Friday. The game will kick off at 7:00 in Kenan Stadium on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
When Torrey Nowell was hired at New Bern and said he was going to bring his triple option to reinvigorate the Bears, some folks were skeptical that it could work.
