the never again movement. and what they are saying is they have had enough with gun violence, and do want to see something done. there were about 12 to 15,000 people out here today. that s according to the broward county sheriff s office. that s quite a number when you think about this community, which only has about 31,000 people in it, and, of course, a number of people had gone up to the nation s capital. what they did was gather this morning just after 10:00, had some rally, had some speeches, and made their way down about a mile from here, where marjory stoneman douglas high school is, and had a moment of silence there. many of them spoke very, very eloquently, passionately, about this subject. take a listen to what one person had to say. when you heard about what happened here in broward county, and this is your community, when you heard about what happened here, what went through your mind? i cried. i cried, because we re in the greatest nation on earth, and we get so upset

to testify on social cyber attacks. this marks nearly two weeks since the never again movement started. students from majory stoneman douglas high school are on capitol hill today meeting with federal lawmakers and demanding action nationwide. sarah huckabee sanders was forced to address some of these issues. the president still supports raising the age limit to 21 for purchasing some firearms. we expect it to be a topic of discussion. we know not everyone necessarily agrees. we re not going to get into the details, but we expect that to be part of the conversation tomorrow. something going on tomorrow and the white house says by the end of the wheek they may be giving us so proposalproposals.
in the new cnn poll suggests maybe. 70% in our poll now favor stricter gun laws. this is different than it was after the shooting even in the las vegas in october. 52% then. it s the highest number since back in 1993. so patrick healey, lawmakers coming back, will this be palpable do you think? it s unclear whether president trump wants to spend any political capital right now on federal gun legislation. in florida you don t even see republicans who control the house, the senate, the governor s office being willing to come together and talk very seriously about passing some kind of gun control, instead you have this kind of political quagmire that is grown up in which republicans are really focusing on sheriff israel, that s where so much of the conversation is and you have to wonder, okay, the never again movement is it going to be able
of what things that my friend said was said we had a test on interest groups the first day the next day after it happened and she said going up against the biggest one would probably be good practice for that test and honestly look we we ve done our research we re not stupid we know we re going up against probably the most if not the most powerful interest group in the united states and we know it s going to be a challenge and we know we re going to get stuff right now a lot of the faces of the hashtag never again movement have been really radical have been really are spoken that fantastic because it s drawn in media attention but i have a feeling there s going to be a second wave of far more moderate people rushing in to fight the specific legislation and take it step by step you know we re not calling for the revocation of the second amendment or i i m british but i think the second bomb is pod american culture i understand people want to feel safe with their guns which is asking for
