The city of Reno is set to clear out camps used by people who are unsheltered near downtown on Thursday, days after the region opened its Nevada Care Campus to the public.
The operation is scheduled to take place on Thursday from Kuenzli Street to the Wells Overpass, along Commercial Row.
The city of Reno has either given written or verbal notice that the area will be closed for cleaning, according to a statement from city spokesman Jon Humbert.
They sent out notices for Zone 3, an area from the Wells Overpass to Sutro Street, since Monday, according to the press release.
