Meteorologists Predicting Mild Spring

After a relatively mild Winter, it looks like Spring will follow suit. Meteorologists are predicting that Nova Scotia and the rest of the Maritimes will see slightly warmer than usual temperatures this Spring. Weather Network Meteorologist Jessie Uppel says we will likely still see a few days of wintry weather, with below-freezing temperatures and snowfall. “Some days will still be quite chilly and winter-like but overall with the warmer days that we are expecting the average temperature will likely end up slightly higher than the seasonal average,” Uppel said. The average temperature for Nova Scotia in the Spring is around 9 degrees and The Weather Networks’ team of meteorologists believe this year will be 0.5-1 degree higher.
