PLANS to build a local centre in Taunton have been submitted by Tout s group. The company, who have stores in Nailsea, Langford and Cleeve, have submitted plans for a three-story building, called Nerrols Neighbourhood Centre. The plans for Nerrols Drive, by Venture Way roundabout, in Taunton, include a ground floor for commercial use, with 36 apartments in the remaining two storeys. The bottom floor will consist of a shop, lounge/bar/restaurant, hair and beauty salon, office accommodation and floorspace for food production and dispatch. There are also plans for electric vehicle charging points, a petrol and diesel forecourt with canopy, parking and some open space.
