Bareilly: Three tigers strayed across the border from Dudhwa and Pilibhit tiger reserves into Nepal this month, of which one was tranquilised and caged, the other broke free and is now lost, and one was found dead ensnared and declawed. While Nepal officials said the tiger was killed by poachers in India, wildlife officials in India said that was “highly unlikely.” “We have spoken to Nepal officials to get details of all three tigers so we can match them against our database,” Dudhwa field director Sanjay Pathak said.
