(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Police Command in Delta has apprehended five suspected cultists at Eyara Community in Otu-Jeremi, Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.
The acting Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command, DSP Edafe Bright, said this in a statement on Thursday in Warri.
Bright said the suspects were arrested between April 12th and April 13th following intelligence gathering by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Otu-Jeremi division, SP Pius Eredei.
He said one of the suspects identified as Michael Oghorume was nabbed on April 12th at his hideout, adding that his confessional statement led to the arrest of Timothy Samuel and three others on April 13th.
