(Eddie Moore/Albuquerque Journal) Copyright © 2021 Albuquerque Journal SANTA FE – Two companies involved in the construction of the Buckman Direct Diversion Water Treatment Project will pay $36 million as part of a settlement agreement with the Buckman Direct Diversion Board, which sued them and others over the design and construction of the water system that serves city of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County residents. The money is to be paid within 30 days, according to the agreement.
