A former member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Sylvester Okeke, has been reportedly kidnapped by suspected gunmen. Although the State Police Command said it didn't receive any report of such incident, it was learnt that the former lawmaker was abducted alongside another person whose identify was yet to be ascertained close to a Military checkpoint along the Ring Road area in Awka, the state capital. His abduction is coming barely four months another former lawmaker, Hon. Nelson Achukwu was kidnapped and later found dead beheaded.
