[speaking spanish] i am here because i want to give my support of the due process for all is approved. [speaking spanish] for me its very important to be able to pass these ordinance because the immigrants those of us that are immigrants in the country are people that are doing good. We are continue to try to keep our families alive and moving forward with our families. [speaking spanish] our community suffer a lot of abuse and discrimination because of the police, and then the program scom makes this abuse has worse consequences. [speaking spanish] africanamerican people and latino people are two of the races that are most abused by the police and also by jobs. [speaking spanish] we are marginalized and we are seen as people that are disposable. [speaking spanish] these ordinance can help us progress

You need to vote yes for due process for all. Thank you. Next speaker. For those that dont know i am erica cane, a member of inaudible . Nobody knows how you get into the ice data base and if there is a mistake and i am in the data base as a citizen of the United States i could be held in custody even if there are no pending charges against me. I suffered from a traditional trauma and mentally, physically and emotionally and economically abused for two years from my husband while recovering from that tram a i got my life together and am safe and participating in the program. After doing this work to get to where i am today everything i struggled for can be taken away for nothing. I have first hand knowledge of the many programs that are offered by the San Francisco Sheriffs Department. One
Three small children and two are u. S. Citizens and on the way to apply for a visa and obtaining status permanently. She was arrested by San Francisco police under chief suhrs leadership of a false accusation and a man harassing her at a lub here in San Francisco. This hatched on june 28. After the sheriffs policy took effect and the policy and what the chief is suggesting are clearly not enough and we really have to codify and expand the current policies that we have, so that wrongly accused individuals arent caught in this net. So even though the man was the aggressor and had to be removed and escorted out of the dance venue she was the one who was charged with a serious crime classified as a felony, assault with a Deadly Weapon because the man accused her of assaulting him with a glass bottle. This didnt happen. The charges were dropped and she was not released by the police regardless. The county of San Francisco, the city and county of San Francisco held her in our local jails fro
