Indiana Tech remains the top-ranked team for the second week in a row. The Warriors posted an impressive 11 top-10 marks just over the weekend. Tech was led by senior Sha’londa Terry who had two nationally ranked top-5 times, coming in at 7.60 in the 60 (No. 2) and 25.04 in the 200 (No. 4). Senior Mary Leighton, senior Doneasha Brewer, junior Destiny Copeland and senior Nekeima Obike also had top-five marks in their respective event over the weekend. The Warriors continue to have multiple athletes ranked inside the top-10 in the 60, 200, 400, 60H, long jump, triple jump and the pentathlon.
Concordia (Neb.) held steady at No. 2. The Bulldog DMR squad led the way over the weekend with a new No. 1 ranking (12:32.60), while sophomore Josie Puelz comes in this week with new No. 1 ranking in the pole vault clearing 4.01m (13-1 ¾).
