The body which runs most of West Norfolk s main leisure and fitness venues has been given £340,000 of funding to help them reopen in a Covid-secure manner from next month.
West Norfolk Council has today announced the grant allocation to itself and Alive West Norfolk, which is part of a £100 million government package, that is being distributed by Sport England.
The cash will be used to support plans for a phased reopening, which officials hope will be from mid-April, of facilities including Lynnsport and the St James Pool in Lynn, plus Alive Downham Leisure and the Oasis centre in Hunstanton.
