Our Correspondent Kohima, Nov. 23 (EMN): The Angami Sports Association (ASA) felicitated the 2nd North East Olympic Game medallists from Angami community on Wednesday at Talimeren conference hall, Nagaland Olympic Association office complex in Kohima. Altogether 33 medalists from the four Angami units — southern, northern, western and chakro regions — who represented the state of Nagaland were felicitated. Citations included INR 3,000 for each gold medalist, INR 2,000 for each silver medalist and INR 1500 for each bronze medalist. Viketouzo Meyase, vice president of ASA, the apex sports body of the Angami tribe, lauded the sportspersons for bringing laurels to the Angami community as well as the state of Nagaland.
