A Porsche driver who admitted to filming dead and dying police officers has been placed on mute by a magistrate for interrupting court proceedings over separate charges.
Richard Pusey appeared via video in Melbourne s Neighbourhood Justice Centre today charged with theft and assault in relation to a parking dispute in October 2018.
Pusey, 42, has pleaded guilty to outraging public decency and other charges after using his phone to film four dying police officers on April 22 last year after a truck crashed into them in Kew. The hatred and condemnation directed towards him prompted a judge to describe him on Wednesday as âprobably the most hated man in Australiaâ.
On Thursday, Pusey faced court charged with theft and unlawful assault after he allegedly stole the car keys of a man on October 20, 2018 when they got into a dispute about a parking spot in the Melbourne CBD.
CCTV footage of the incident was played to the court, which showed Pusey in his BMW waiting for a taxi to leave a car spot on Russell Street.
