Beginning of this revitalization and i want to thank those folks on ocii who are revitalizing our 12i. It is exciting to see the Southeast Side of the city catching fire and moving forward in a positive way and a way thats not leaving people behind and thats really important. You can move forward and you cannot leave people behind. Yes, we have our challenges but that does not mean we are defined by our challenges. We have begun to rebuild housing and removed over 600 guns off the street and i want to thank the Police Department for doing that. We will continue to do that and chip away and make sure our safety net is safe and fair for everyone in this city. I want to in closing give a few remarks about some of the work im going to be doing in the next four years.
