Part of the hoboken rail station collapsed on the train. It did not appear to slow down as it allowed into the station at the height of morning rush hour with more than 200 people on board. A steady stream of ambulances and rescue workers transporting multiple people. Engineers just getting off the trained at the time described the scene. You heard like a kaboo the whole place shook. I just saw people all over the ground and debris it was not a good scene. The ceiling kind of collapsed on top of the portion of the train. As you can imagine, theres wiring and water pipes, its just stuff everywhere. Reporter new Jersey Transit has as you can imagine,not completea prevent accidents by automatically slowing or stopping trains going too fast.
