The government of Nagaland has launched the Aadhaar Linked Birth Registration (ALBR) initiative to facilitate birth registration for children aged 0-5 years. The service aims to ensure that no child is deprived of social welfare schemes. The Directorate of Economics and Statistics in Nagaland has been onboarded by UIDAI as the Registrar cum Enrolment Agency to carry out child enrolment using the ALBR process.
