Pastor at Delaware s oldest African American church shares a positive takeaway from virtual service

Rev. Clifford Johnson still remembers his most recent in-person service at Wilmington s Shiloh Baptist Church. It was March 8, almost a full year ago, and just days before Gov. John Carney s emergency order ushered in a new way of doing things during the coronavirus pandemic.
And while other services and various houses of worship have resumed around the state, that second Sunday in March 2020 remains the last time Johnson, 78, stood in front of a live audience and delivered his Sunday sermon.
