Akron police asking for public s help to find siblings missing since Saturday

Akron police find siblings reported missing Saturday Updated Mar 14, 2021; AKRON, Ohio – Akron police say a brother and sister – ages 9 and 10 – reported missing Saturday by their mother have been found. Nehemiah Garcia, 9, and Amarra Christian, 10, were found about 11:50 a.m. Sunday at a house on the 800 block of Triplett Boulevard, about one-half mile away from their home, Akron police spokesman Lt. Michael Miller said. The children’s mother reported them missing about 11 p.m. Saturday, but she said she had last seen them between 5 and 6 p.m. on their block of Barbara Avenue, police said. Police did not say whether the siblings had a history of running away from home before Saturday night.
