BACOLOD CITY – The Cadiz City, Negros Occidental Veterinary Office destroyed about 350 kilos of frozen food and meat products seized early this week.

City veterinarian Dr. Josue Rabang said the confiscated items were immediately burned and buried to prevent them from being consumed.
Rabang said they have monitored the shipment here, prompting them to conduct the operation as part of the city’s local anti-African Swine Fever protocols.
He said they intercepted the products and the vehicle while the personnel who were transporting them were ordered to return to their place of origin.
