+ March 14, 2021 THE Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Negros Occidental-North has conducted a two-day training on basic accounting for its development facilitators at the agency’s Provincial Office’s Conference Room in Bacolod City recently.
The activity was a continuous capacity development training for the field development facilitators, who are the manpower extension of the support services team in assisting the agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in their daily farming financial records and transactions.
March 09, 2021 THE Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Negros Occidental-North ranked second in terms of certificate of land ownership award (Cloa) registration nationwide.
The DAR Central Office made the announcement during the 2020 Year-End Summative Assessment and 2021 Planning Conference held in Palo, Leyte recently.
DAR-Negros Occidental I has a total Cloas registration for a total of 1,843.8924 hectares.
These were awarded and distributed to 2,022 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in northern portion of the province for Calendar Year (CY) 2020.
DAR Secretary John Castriciones, along with other officials of the agency, led the four-day activity on March 1 to 4.
Third-level officials of the regional and provincial offices also gathered to evaluate the department s performance and ensure satisfactory rate in terms of budget utilization.

February 11, 2021 THE Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Negros Occidental-North has awarded 21.1138 hectares of land to 40 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in a certificate of land ownership award (Cloa) distribution and installation rites held in Cadiz City recently.
Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer Zayda Carinal, who led the activity, said the agency has helped farmers with their right to acquire the land. We hope that you may never forget the responsibility that comes with
it, she told the farmer-beneficiaries.
The activity involves the landholding formerly owned by Carmen Consing located in Barangay Andres Bonifacio in the northern Negros Occidental locality.
DAR-Negros Occidental I said the 21-hectare land was distributed by the DAR through land acquisition and distribution under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Extension with Reforms (Carper).

+ January 22, 2021 THE Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in Negros Occidental-North has conducted its regular management committee meeting, which is positioned to boost agrarian reform services in the province.
DAR-Negros Occidental I said the meeting attended by the heads of various offices on Thursday, January 21, 2021, aimed to solidify the agency’s targets for 2021, as well as revisit and assess its accomplishments last year.
