Bhubaneswar: The vaccination drive for the elderly population and the persons with co-morbidities is to commence at 10 private hospitals and 12 government hospitals in Bhubaneswar from March 1.
Informing this, Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, Prem Chandra Chaudhary said that identified persons will receive vaccines at the government hospitals. There is a target of inoculating 60 persons at each centre on Day 1.
Chaudhary added that vaccines at private hospitals will be administered after registration. Interested persons have to register themselves through CoWIN 2.0 portal or Aarogya Setu.
The portal will be live from Monday so the registrations will begin on the same day. As a result, vaccination at private hospitals will start physically on Tuesday.
