A search is being launched for a worker who was inside a pharmaceutical chemical factory early Thursday when it was rocked by a “violent explosion” so powerful a large industrial vat was blown through the building wall and into a parking lot some 30 feet away, officials said.
The regulations would limit the two most common PFAS chemicals PFOA and PFOS to four parts per trillion; and also limit any mixture containing one or more of the PFAS chemicals known as PFNA, PFHxS, PFBS, and/or GenX.
