Last month, Nebraska Convention of States sponsor Senator Steve Halloran made a daring move to advance the Convention of States Resolution (LR-14) in the Nebraska legislature. Sen. Halloran was attempting to break a stalemate in a committee that has been deadlocked on Convention of States for over three years, but the move narrowly failed.
Now, we may have another chance.
Senator Mike Flood has indicated he made a mistake in not voting for the attempt, and has since made a motion to revive LR-14 and keep alive Nebraska s application to join the Convention of States movement!
