Armed police swooped on a residential street after a man was spotted with a gun.
Residents said they counted at least seven officers carrying weapons and training them on a house in Alma Road, Sheerness.

Mawunyo Graham, who took a video of the action, warned on Facebook: Just a heads up to people returning back to Alma Road that all roads are closed for cars and no one is allowed to leave their homes.
Nearby Meyrick and Fonblanque Roads were also blocked preventing many residents from returning to their homes.
Swale farmers Stephen and James Attwood offer to help build drive-thru super Covid vaccine centre
A farmer and his son have offered to help build a drive-thru Covid-19 vaccine centre.
Stephen and James Attwood who farm in Swale have written to Sittingbourne and Sheppey MP Gordon Henderson asking him to pass on their offer at high level .

The Attwoods, who farm on Sheppey and in Sittingbourne, said: The roll-out of the new vaccine is of such importance it requires a national effort. The Government should work with the private sector. Drive-thrus could be constructed across the country in large car parks, airports, private hospitals and county showgrounds which could operated 24/7.
