So racial background can be a part of who they are without being necessarily an impedestrianiment. I think we are seeing in this moment a redefinition of the race. For a long time when we thought about race it was a binary issue, black america and white america. Now it is all kinds of things, multihued, multiethnic and racial identities ever always shifting. So when a kid grows up ats more likely that race will be an important part of their portfolio, background but not necessarily the thing that will hold them back. Thats much more to do with class. Chris you know, growing up in philadelphia and being an africanamerican kid and going to Independence Hall and having your teacher take you, coming out of that, it is a plaque president.
