Reporter they were called here around 12 30 this morning and it was because of a we welfare check. Its still a very active scene. When officers arrived at the panera bread parking lot they found two men dead inside a car. Again in the panera bread parking lot. You can see its still a very active scene. Theres crime tape surrounding the panera bread and part of the comfort inn and suites of glenwood avenue in raleigh. We have not learned much from officers since weve been here but what we have learned is that panera bread might be closed for the rest of the day workers are coming here and rpd is talking to them. Maybe as potential witnesses or maybe getting Surveillance Video. Were hoping to learn much more. I j

Raleigh police were called to this area about 12 30 this morning. They were originally called to do a welfare check. When they arrived they found the two men dead from gunshot wounds. When police say they have not they have identified but are not releasing the names, to us at this point but as weve been seeing for the past couple of hours a lot of family, a lot of friends, are coming here and crying, we have not been able to talk to them too much but you can tell they are just going through a lot at this point. So are police. They are going through Surveillance Video and witnesses and trying to get as much information as possible because right now they are saying they dont have much to go on.
