response. so, there were a number of issues there that i think were done improperly. what do you think about this, neal, even though officer stockley said, quote, we re killing this mfer before their car crashed into smith. stockley killed anthony smith. as a former police officer, do you think the judge has a fair point when he says people say things in the heat of the matter. whether or not it s a fair point, i m not sure. as a police officer we get involved in these stressful situations time and time again especially in a city like st. louis and baltimore and others. there has to be a point you deal with your emotions in a high speed pursuit, what would be stressful for someone else, a average citizen. you have to work at that. it s part of the profession.
the protestors, but you re not sure where they re heading. exactly. i can tell you this one this slice of this neighborhood where we are, i m not seeing too many protestors. but you still have this heavy police presence out here. why? i can t tell you exactly. perhaps they re just trying to keep them from going further down this street. or perhaps they have some intel that they re marching towards this area. i can t tell you for certain. but still dozens of officers lining this particular street. it s also very nice residential section of st. louis. also hospitals again lining that i m not sure where you are. i think you said you re near king s highway. i m sure they want to protect the residents of that neighborhood. i want to bring you neal franklin retired maryland
