The Assembly had earlier passed a Rs 9,066.56 crore vote on accounts on March 27 to ensure the smooth conduct of development works in the state till a full-fledged budget is tabled.
In a warning to the BJP government, Pradyot says that if anyone wants to rule Tripura leaving out its 30 per cent tribals, the tribals will be unhappy and react.
Speaking to reporters in Agartala, Sarkar said: “Pradyot Kishore should be asked and he can clarify the issue. He has been caught in a trap. Now he has to think about how he will get free from this trap. Why would I waste time talking about it? Let us see what he says.”
Speaking to reporters, an aggrieved candidate said: “It has been long and it does not feel good to repeat the same thing over and over again. The government would not be doing us a favour by giving us these jobs, we are asking for jobs based on our abilities.”
