North West public works and roads MEC Gaoage Oageng Molapisi has told government employees who live in state houses to pay for their accommodation or face eviction.
“On average, each ministerial house is valued at nearly R10m, which means that every ANC minister and deputy minister currently lives in two mansions (one in Cape Town and one in Pretoria) valued at a collective R20m all courtesy of South African taxpayers,” DA MP Leon Schreiber, said.
The DA plans to confront the department of communications and digital technologies with a plan to stabilise mobile network services during load-shedding.
