have the right to fair and impartial jury. if you are republican donald trump or you don t agree with somebody, you don t get that. it is not okay. so last question and i will say i am going to disadvantage because this is just happening and we are figuring out what s going on. don t you think you would be really helpful for the preservation of our core systems for a prominent democrat who dislikes donald trump and didn t vote for him and stand up and defend the principles for the quality under the law for the sake of america. would that be reassuring for everybody right about now? yes, yes! i think that person should be the president of this country. i think the president has an an obligation to be that person. i want to see what karine jean-pierre says. i am an american citizen. my parents are immigrants and i will tell you right now that i hope for our country s sake that the president stands up. i hope that congress is looking in and i know they asked da bragg to come in

i m more concerned about the runoff across the country. things like this. the threats to people who are just doing their jobs, because that s what we re seeing. we saw with the georgia election workers. we ve seen it on street doctors, when people have attacked people like dr. fauci. it s consequences. it s not just attacking the one person. the repercussions actually permeate to other doctors. either public servants. the other people that are in this type of work. that s why these things are so dangerous. we know exactly what it means and what it does. and what the people listening they take that as a call to action. yeah. he knows what he s doing, indeed. ali, we spent all last week on indictment watch. trump falsely claimed he was gonna get arrested on tuesday. when you make of da bragg s case against trump on the stormy daniels money? do you think he ll be indicted soon? look, from what we
talk about how rare this kind of interference is from congress. and do you believe that this is intimidation? literally 20 years of being a prosecutor, practicing law rather, i have never seen this type of intervention from congress. it is very clear that words have power, and i think that alvin bragg understands this. and he used his words to speak in a very powerful manner to tell jim jordan and other congressional officials, stay in your lane. they are interfering in a space that is not their purview. that they do not belong. and they are further complicating what needs to be an investigation and a prosecution form moving forward. how ironic is it, simon, that this was once the party that branded itself as being a group of people who are about to law and order. now attempting to subvert the rule of law in favor of someone who has clearly broken the law. i think that this is very telling, but i also appreciate how da bragg has dealt with these very unusual and very
well we don t know where the federal taxpayer money back being sent to, the manhattan district attorney s office. just as it s going, this probe of president trump. answer is no, and a quick google search will tell them that. the new york city city council financial department put out the numbers and showed their federal dollars go for the da. a google search would tell them, but, no they want the story, they want the narrative, and so they are going while they should be doing things like i keep claiming to the new york times. how much of their time goes into that part there might be a 5% to 95% here for all we know, and that is being generous. not a google search being able to save us our tax dollars, oh my goodness. only in 2023. and it is 118th congress. you know, kurt, that new york times profile that i just cited from of comer, he also said this, quote, if you come to kentucky and call me old ultra maga that doesn t hurt me in my district.
