While there s no official mandate regarding the frequency of updates, the move aims to keep pace with changing educational needs. The NCERT is currently developing textbooks based on the New Curriculum Framework announced last year, with plans to complete the process for all classes by 2026.
Once again, the NCERT Class 10 syllabus has been revised as certain portions from the book are cut, including the periodic table and the ‘democracy’ chapter.
