The Court earlier had sought the NCDRC members' explanation as to why they had issued non-bailable warrants against the directors of a realty company when the top court had stayed any coercive action against the company.
Hoshiarpur resident Pankaj Kumar had not used his ATM card for over a year before the incident. The card had also remained in his possession throughout.
The Commission said that the woman was liable to be compensated even though she did not produce any documents to show financial losses she suffered as a result of the botched surgery.
