Chamberland named to president’s list
Hannah Chamberland of Sneads Ferry was recently named to the president’s list at Southeast Missouri State University for academic achievement during the fall 2020 semester.

Shelby Warrelmann of Jacksonville recently graduated from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, with a degree in Marine Science during December 2020 commencements.
VFW Post 9983 Detention Officer of the Year
Samantha Green of Jacksonville has been recently named the VFW Post 9983 Detention Officer of the Year. She is a four year veteran with the Onslow County Sheriff s Office was selected for her superb leadership and get the mission accomplished attitude. Currently a Deck Supervisor, Greene supervises six Block Officers and over 200 inmates.
