Rather than condemn or shun individuals who are sinning, Christians should embrace everyone and encourage them to do better.
Senior pastor at the Church of the Nazarene in Bank Hall, St Michael, Reverend Anderson Kellman, made that point on Easter Sunday yesterday as he reminded members of the true meaning of Easter, and Jesus’ death and resurrection.
“We Christians have no right to be trying to puff our chests up, criticise and condemn others. We have to understand we are in the process of being reconciled and we too slip. We, therefore, have to be willing to tolerate and understand those who slip as well and to encourage them,” Kellman said.
