Nazaria ‘DJ Naz’ Davis walked on to the Guinness Sounds of Greatness (GSOG) stage and into the history books after an epic final of the soundclash competition on July 9.
Together with her teammate Onika ‘DJ Nelly Swag’ Watson, Davis beat some of the biggest names in the business to claim the 2021 title.
‘It s an incredible feeling to be the first women to win GSoG. I was so shocked and happy at the same time that I couldn t help but cry on stage. I even turned to Nelly Swag at that point and asked her if she was sure it was Naz they had said. I am happy that Gurl Power Sound made history and could walk away with one million dollars,’ DJ Naz said in a statement.
