Karnataka police have arrested a Pakistani woman who has been staying in India without a passport for eight years with her husband and three children at Bhatkal. The woman has been remanded in judicial custody, said the police.
As per police, Khadija Mehrin married Mohiddin Rukkuddin in 2014 in Dubai. After her marriage, Khadija entered India illegally in 2015 and stayed with her husband at Nawayath Colony in Bhatkal.
Police said that she had travelled on a tourist visa to India for three months in 2015 and stayed back illegally. The police further said that during her stay here, she gave birth to three children.

The Uttara Kannada police on Wednesday night arrested Khatija Meharan, 33, from Pakistan, on the charges of entering India illegally and staying with her husband at Nawayath Colony in Bhatkal illegally.

The Hindu that following her marriage to Mohideen Rukkudeen of Bhatkal, Khatija illegally entered India in 2014 and stayed with her husband. The two have three children.
She has also been accused of producing fake documents to get an Aadhaar card, a ration card, a PAN card, and a few other documents.

Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation to host district-level floodlight pro kabaddi tournament
The Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation is hosting a three-day district-level Auz BMYF Pro Kabaddi Tournament starting March 12 at Taluka Stadium in Nawayath Colony Bhatkal. While speaking to the media at the YMSA office here, President of the Federation Maulana Azeeezur Rahman Ruknuddin said, that the winning team will receive the first prize of Rs 75,000 with a trophy, the second prize of Rs 40,000 with a trophy, and the third and fourth prize of Rs 10,000.
Similarly, the Best All-Rounder, Best Rounder, Best Catcher, and Best Discipline teams will each be awarded Rs. 5,000 in addition to a trophy.
